Skopelos, Skiatohos i Alonissos

Skopelos, Skiatohos i Alonissos należą do archipelagu północnych Spradów, które leżą w odległości ok. 60 mil morskich od portu w Volos.. Skopelos jest po Skiatos drugą co do wielkości wyspą tego archipelagu i zajmuje powierzchnię 96 km2.  Na stałę zamieszkuje ją ok. 5 tysięcy ludzi skupionych głównie w miasteczkach na wybrzeżu, z czego ok. 2 tysięcy to mieszkańcy stolicy o tej samej nazwie. Centralna część wyspy jest raczej pagórkowata. Najwyższe szczyty to Delphi 688 m n.p.m. i Palouki 566 m n.p.m. Po za tym urocze zielone doliny, zatoczki i mnóstwo wspaniałych zakątków.

Skopelos, Skiatohos and Alonissos belong to the northern archipelago of Sporades, which lies approximately 60 nautical miles from the port of Volos. Skopelos is the second largest island of this archipelago after Skiatos and covers an area of 96 km2. Around 5,000 people live in the island, mainly concentrated in coastal towns, of which about 2,000 are residents of the capital of the same name. The central part of the island is rather hilly. The highest peaks are Delphi 688 m above sea level. and Palouki 566 m above sea level. After that, charming green valleys, coves and lots of wonderful corners.
